Whether you celebrate Galentine’s day on February 13, 14, or 15, I love the idea of honoring your best girl friend(s).
Here’s my Galentine’s Day Gift Guide for all the special women in your life.
1. Rifle Paper 2018 Appointment Calendars – $16-$30
If she likes to stay organized.
It’s not too late in the year to gift your BFF with a pretty calendar. Rifle Paper Co.’s whimsical illustrations will brighten up her day each time she uses it. I love the Bon Voyage calendar for vintage-inspired travel scenes, the Yucatan or Midnight Menagerie calendar for exotic plants and beasts, or the classic wall calendar with Rifle Paper Co.’s signature florals.
2. Vrai and Oro small lightweight hoop earrings in rose gold – $55
If she has champagne taste.
Available in three sizes, these delicate hoop earrings are a lovely balance of luxurious (solid rose gold) and affordable. If you want to size up, the medium hoops are only $85, or splurge on your bestie and go large for $145. The warm-hued rose gold is universally flattering.
3. ChaoQ touchscreen stylus set – $8.99 for four
If she’s an Instagram queen.
I purchased these ChaoQ stylus pens recently because I love getting artsy with my Instagram stories, but I’m terrible at writing and drawing with my finger. These touchscreen styluses will make it easy for your Instagram-loving friend to up her story game – and the set of four means she can stash one in multiple locations for instagramming on-the-go.
4. Banana Republic silk stripe scarf – $32 (now on sale – $19)
If she’s a little French at heart.
It’s hard to go wrong with a well-made silk scarf – you can wear them tied jauntily around your neck, or I love knotting one around the handle of my bag. I found the cool miniature cheetah print scarf below from Banana Republic, or this Cuyana striped scarf in nude, blue, or black would make a very elegant gift.
5. NEST Fragrances Classic Candle or Diffuser – Birchwood Pine – $40-$44
If she’s still a little sad the holidays are over.
Even in February, I love the comforting smell of a pine tree. NEST’s Birchwood scent hits the nail on the head – try the candle or the reed diffuser to freshen up any room. Its fresh, verdant perfume doesn’t smell fake or overpowering – perfect for sensitive noses that want to imagine it’s still Christmastime.
6. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams – $12 per pint
If she has a sweet tooth.
I could wax lyrical about Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Have you read my post about Jeni’s D.C. grand opening (and the pants I wore)? Made with love from grass-fed cream, the unique flavors are fantastic. Bonus – you can have them shipped on dry ice anywhere in the country. My top picks: roasted strawberry buttermilk, brown butter almond brittle, pistachio and honey, and my absolute favorite (which unfortunately looks out of stock) Bangkok peanut.
