I’m just a little bit in love with the Inez Sasha sandals I got last month! Silver shoes go with everything, and I’ve proven it by styling these with formal and casual looks, wearing them to an art gallery, a dinner date, a special event, and more. They’re the new workhorses of my shoe wardrobe and I’m excited to share my review of them here.

Earlier this year, I discovered Inez online – a new direct-to-consumer shoe brand that delivers luxury heels in a range of widths. With impeccable attention to detail and fit, their shoes are what my narrow feet have been yearning for all my life.

My first pair of Inez shoes were the Alta pumps, a classic heel with sleek 3.5” stilettos. (You can ready my review of them here). For summer, they came out with two new styles – the Sofia sandals, with a 2.8” stiletto heel (I reviewed them here), and the Sasha sandals, with a sturdy 3.5” block heel. I’d been dying to try the Sashas, so when I found out I had an invitation to Baltimore’s Diner en Blanc event, it was the perfect excuse to get a new pair of shoes!

The Fit

One of Inez’s most delightful details is that they’ve designed the buying process to make online shoe shopping as frictionless as possible. They let you pick a complementary backup size to try along with your primary size – simply try them both and send back the pair you don’t want. You’re only ever charged for one pair.

The Inez Sasha sandals were the perfect fit for my feet in a 7 narrow. My instep is a particularly narrow area and I knew the straps going across the front of the Sashas would be better in a narrow. In fact, these fit like a glove! I’ve never been able to wear shoes with straps across the instep until now. The fit is so good – these are heels that I truly enjoy wearing.

The Construction

Inez’s secret sauce is a contoured, research-backed insole that cradles your feet in every style. The Sashas are no exception. When I first slid them on, I was struck by the arch support, which is unusual in a high heel.

Always prepared, I had brought band-aids with me to Diner en Blanc when I was debuting the shoes, just in case blisters emerged – but after 30 minutes of walking and standing in 90 degree heat, and then almost an hour of dancing, they held up! No blisters, and no sore feet, just shoe nirvana.

The Design

Inez shoes are handmade in a third-generation family factory in Elda, Spain (right outside Alicante – fun fact that’s where I went on my first trip to Spain with a friend in 2009!) The Sasha sandals have three thin, elegant straps that cross the instep, plus a delicate ankle strap. I love how timelessly sexy it makes them. Add in a modern block heel and you have a silhouette that will stand the test of time.

I’m obviously a big fan of silver shoes – they make a subtle statement, especially when worn with neutrals or pastels. While the Alta pumps come in a sleek silver patent, the Sashas are made in a silver crinkle leather that adds dimension and texture to the silhouette.

The only downside is that the crinkle leather is somewhat more delicate than the patent leather – sadly, I scratched up the back of one of the heels on the second wear. While you can’t see the scuff from far away, I recommend being a little gentle with the silver crinkle finish.

If you couldn’t tell, I’ve been wearing the Inez Sasha sandals with everything – and I can’t wait to wear my new camel suede pair in Spain this month! (Yes, I love them so much I got a second color…) Find me on Instagram to see them in action, and to follow along on my trip.
