The Only Heel You Need to Pack on Vacation

I just got back from a week in St. Lucia and these were the shoes I wore every night! The Inez Sara heels were hands down the hero footwear of my trip. I packed a pair of wedges too, but didn’t end up wearing them at all. Read on for why I turned to the Inez Saras over and over again, and why they’re the only heel I plan on packing for two weeks in Thailand at the end of the summer.

How do Inez heels fit?

Like most Inez heels, the Sara comes in three widths–slim, standard, and roomy. I am a 7 slim in all Inez heels that offer a narrow size, and the Saras fit me perfectly with the straps secure across my instep. I am also a fan of the Inez Sasha heels and while I love that the Sashas have an ankle strap, the wider straps across the Saras help make them feel molded to my feet. Plus there’s something effortless about a slip-on heel, especially when you’re on vacation!

True to Inez’s signature fit, the Saras’ contoured, research-backed insole is a game changer. The arch curves upwards, providing support (hurrah!) and preventing my foot from sliding forward – something that can be an issue when dancing or walking for a long time in high heels. But if the 3.5″ height is too much for you, try the Inez Lulu sandal–it’s the same style, but with a lower 2.2″ heel!

The perfect gold vacation heel

My favorite thing about the Sara heels is how much I wanted to wear them. In soft crinkle gold leather, the Saras worked effortlessly with every outfit, feeling elevated but not fussy–perfect for the luxury resort vibe. The slim block heel was great for navigating the wooden pier and pathways across the resort’s beachfront.

Because the gold is not too yellow, I found the heels worked just as well with silver jewelry as with gold; I styled them with hoop earrings one night and gold drop earrings the next. Perfect when you want to pack one metallic shoe, not two!

Made in Spain quality

Inez uses high-quality leather beautifully crafted in Spain. These heels feel super sturdy and well-made. The insole is thick and slightly cushy, while the outsole has patches of non-slip rubber to keep you on firm ground.

After my week wearing the Saras, I did find the leather starting to show wear under my toes, but I also blame the hot, humid weather. However the heels and straps still look like new, even after being tossed around in my suitcase.

The Inez Sara heels are now up there with the Sashas–and maybe even edging them out–for position as my favorite go-to heel. They are comfortable, effortless, and go with everything. I am looking forward to packing them on my trip to Thailand at the end of the summer, especially since I prefer packing only a carry-on. I know the Saras will work for every look and occasion–a boon in a travel shoe!
